In this mid-winter month, full of symbols of purification, and hope for renewal, we turn to the element of fire to warm our bodies - and warm our hearts.

Fire both frightens and fascinates us. Like a living creature, it breathes, and dances, and when it is raging, it roars.
Fire is a symbol of protection and purification. In the story of the Phoenix, we see destruction and rebirth.

Like Brigid's fire, passions can rage and burn and consume us. Or like Hestia's hearth, they can burn softly, like glowing embers.

So, let us welcome Fire, the element of the South. Ignite your passions, and bring us your heat!

Suggested attire for "Fire" includes:

Wicca attire, especially as associated with Imbolc or the Goddess Brigid;
Celtic or Druid garb, pre-1650;
preferred colors: red, flame prints, orange, yellow;
fetishwear;
eroticwear;
partial or full nudity;
or any of the options suitable at every Primal party.
No vanilla street clothes. Note the strict Dress Code for all Primals.
As always, trans and crossdressing folk can dress as they like.

Due to venue limitations, actual flame (candles, fire play, etc) is forbidden or severly restricted. Advance permission required.

The evening's music will include a very eclectic range of fire themes.

As usual, there will be two organized, informal group dinners earlier in the evening.

Due to the limitations of evite, we'll do RSVPs again via a poll on the member's yahoo group.

Future Primal dates include February 21st, a Spring date TBD, September 19th, and November 7th.

Primal parties are erotic social events for Queer or Trans folk (LGBTIQ) and their friends. They are closed and invitational. Each has a different theme and music. 18+ only. Clean and sober.
