This is an occasional munch, leading to a regular open play party The munch part allows people to relax and get to know each other, as well as to wind down from the day. The food is good, fast, and affordable. It's a chance to meet new people informally, so when you enter the party you already know lots of folks. Singles, couples, and groups all welcome.
The party is at SFCitadel, a premier full-time space for fetish, kinky, and/or sex play. It's a clean, well-lighted place to explore fantasies. It's ok just to watch. There is no pressure to participate, and everyone feels safe. It has a warm, homey feel. Most events are diverse and gender-balanced.
For those new to SFCitadel, or the scene, we'll answer any questions during the munch. Also, shortly after entering SFCitadel, we'll provide a dungeon tour for any who want it.
Munch RSVPs requested so we can better advise the restaurant how many tables to set aside. Email edukink@yahoo.com with "RSVP" in the subject line. But if you can’t RSVP, come along anyway. We’re easily the biggest group in the restaurant.
You may come to either the munch, or the party, or both. People who attend the munch usually have dinner, but it’s ok just to have a snack or beverage. The restaurant likes us. You may wear leather, fetish or ordinary streetwear.
We aim to be welcoming. This event attracts and welcomes all genders, orientations and play styles. We draw a mix of bdsm, leather, fetish, tranny, goth, gender, kinky, exhibitionist, voyeur, and other folks. We have many regulars, plus new people every time. Some people bring toy bags, some don’t. We get a wide range of ages, races, backgrounds, and outlooks; we celebrate diversity. 18 and over only.
About 8 pm we make our way from the restaurant to SF Citadel. It’s three blocks between the restaurant and dungeon. Some people park in front of SFCitadel, then walk to and from the restaurant. Note that there have been car break-ins throughout the SoMa neighborhood, so don’t leave anything visible or valuable in a vehicle.
Munch attendees get two discounts this night. We'll take a list of email addresses of munch attendees, and these people get $5 off the door, plus are not required to have Citadel membership that night. (Though you'll have a chance to become a Citadel member if you like.) If you aren't a Citadel member, you're considered a guest of EduKink that night.
We discourage heavy cruising (at the munch or party), which would drive people away. It’s ok to express an interest in playing with someone. Politely, and once only. Then let them get back to you if they’re interested.
If it's your fist time, read sfcitadel.org/about.php and sfcitadel.org/rules.php No alcohol, cellphones, or cameras permitted. Don't touch anyone without permission. Don't get close to scenes in progress. No talking in the play spaces.
